MULAN!!! One of my favorite childhood disney character! I loved this shoot so much. And because of Mellanie, I've grown a love for cosplay photography. And what better way to start than to photograph a real life Mulan! I must admit, Mellanie pulled this cosplay off very well and I adore her talent in making these costumes all on her own. Mellanie has this charisma and just goes so well with this Mulan cosplay. This is just the first of photoshoot as we have more planned! I'm also looking foward to photographing more cosplays, thanks to Mellanie <3
Gretchen + Blerim
I just want to thank Gretchen & Blerim for being my first ever wedding to photograph!! I've witnessed many weddings in my life and they were all beautiful and this is no exception. When it was time for Gretchen to walk down the aisle, I could tell she was very nervous. I mean who wouldn't be? This is one of the biggest moments in everyone's life! As I was photographing Gretchen & Blerim, I saw tears of happiness from them. I could easily tell how happy they were to finally make it official. Congratulations once again to this lovely couple :)
Nina & Family
Nina! My first ever client. I've always loved photographing Nina because I'm most comfortable with her and not to mention she's just beautiful. Her family loved her photos and decided to have me take their family photos which I'm truely honored to do so. I love this family very much and want to thank them for being my first family shoot. There's nothing better than the love of a family and they represent that perfectly. I can't wait for part two ;) so stay tuned!
Mimi + Cody
Mimi & Cody! What can I say about these two? I don't think I could say anything else but simply these two are perfect for each other. I've known Mimi for awhile and she's an awesome friend, but this was my first time meeting Cody. Mimi if you're reading this... stay with this one!!! Lol! I can definetly see these two going far together and I hope these photos help them to do so. Had a great time with these two :)
Johnna + Leon
These two are one of my favorite couples I know. What makes these two so perfect for each other is their personalities. I personally knew Leon from highschool and even to middle school and he was that one kid everyone loved and made everyone laugh with his goofy self lol and 'till this day he hasn't changed one bit! Most photographers try to capture a love story between a couple which I try to do myself as well but I also try to capture a sense of playfulness in the couple. Sure a relationship mainly consists of loving each other but it becomes dull if you don't have a sense of humor or just laugh together. Johnna and Leon displays that perfectly with their playful personalities! I had a great time with them :)
Spiffs 2012
Although I wasn't the official photographer for this event, I volunteered to take photos for the Khmer Youth Association as I am partially affiliated with them. This was also my first try at photojournalism or "street photography". I must say I loved this event. It was wonderful visiting all the different cultures of countries all around the world. It's great to see different cultures bonding together and everyone just getting along. This was also a great time for me to help out the KYA as well since I haven't seen them for quite some time now. Great event! I'll be back next year.
Ryan
My first experience with a male model. Suprisingly, in my opinion, this was my best shoot so far. These were shot at the USF campus in St. Pete and it was a great location. One thing as a photographer and a model, even with filming, you get a lot of stares from people like, "whoa are they having a photoshoot?!" and that was what I got that day lol. The first photo of the set looks like it could pass for a movie poster lol.
Louise
I've been planning this project with Louise for awhile now and it finally happened! But before I say anything, I just want to apologize for being late that day lol! I had a great time photographing Louise accompanied by Andy. This photoshoot made me realize how important I needed a flash as these are all shot without an flash. But great photos nonetheless. I look forward working with Louise again :)
Kyujin
This was an interesting location, one I've never really been before. It reminded me a lot about the greek culture I read during college with all the statues and everything. The model was Kyujin and she was also great to work with. She wasn't shy and was very cooperative. I'm always thankful for locations like these I get to go in for free and I thought I would have to pay to get in :)
Nina pt.3
Once again I decided to have another session with Nina, but this time I wanted to try more aspects. I was very motivated at this time because I had just got done reading the works from professional photographers overseas. Once again I couldn't thank Nina enough for modeling for me. She's my favorite person to go to when I need assistance.
Nina!
One of my first "real" photography sessions was with my very good friend, Nina! I've always knew I had an interest in photography so this was the day I decided I would actually go out with a friend model and start taking photos. I couldn't have done this if I didn't know Nina. She knew everything I was thinking of when it came to poses and that is one of the best things a photographer could ask for. There's nothing better than photographing someone you're close with :)
B-Boys
I've always had love for the hiphop culture as I use to dance myself. Bboying is an art form that I will always find amazing no matter what. I may not dance as much as I use to, but I'll always have a deep side of me that'll just want to get down a bust a move.
